Greater Iowa City Real Estate Market
Typically the spring market for the Greater  Iowa City area begins Feb 15 - March this is driven by supply and demand as the winds of the season change. We see a turn over of residents in the area every three to five years based upon those coming to the area associated with new employment, University of Iowa, and UI Hospital related.
Those coming to the area will plan to visit and wrap up their plans quickly. Buyers are pre-approved, and serious about making decisions toward change.
Buyers know what they can afford, their desired location, will offer a list of criteria which makes it easy to offer homes limiting time wasted for the buyer.
Buyers know the internet, they are capable of researching the area, they know who to trust when it's time to list or purchase based upon personal time and conversation with their real estate professional.
Knowing your real estate professional has put your needs first and works to offer you the personal service you deserve is key to smooth transactions.
Sellers in the area know that placing their home on the market clearly offers a position advantage to market, accept offers and move quicky to reach tbeir personal goals.
You may be acquainted with many licensed real estate agents and firms but the question is how many will work tireless to help you achieve what you need and want?
I have worked as a licensed Iowa real estate agent since 1997 in the Iowa City area. I have found that my clients value our relationship, they trust me to care for their family and friends. That feels so good, I take that on seriously.
It's the best part of working in real estate.
If I can help you or someone you know simply drop me a line and I would be happy to assist.
